Change Multiple Ads on Your Google AdWords Campaign

So, you have Google AdWords account. You may have multiple Ad Goups each Group may have multiple Ads. Did you know you can change all your Ad Group Ads at one time?

Many do not know this or they not sure how use AdWords Editor. will show you, step step, how use editor. This will change all or one ads your account easily.

The first step download Google AdWords Editor your computer. You can find Editor Google search or your account. Once this completed, open Editor your PC. You may have use your search box find it or you may find it your Programs file. It does not install shortcut icon automatically.

In left hand corner, you will see “file” dropdown box. Clic “open account” Click there Pop up box will appear asking you Add Acount. Click there add name your account. Once this has completed you will want “Get recent changes” This upper left hand corner Editor box. It has blue arrow pointing down, you can’t miss it. Click this box update Editor before you make any changes. This will ensure you making changes all your Ad Groups. It does not automatically know you have added or deleted group or specific ads.

In middle page, you will see column that has five boxes it. Keywords, Placements, Negatives, Ads, Ad Groups, Campaigns. This where you may make multiple changes your campaign. We dealing only ad changes here. There other articles where Show you tricks other changes.

Click “Ads” box. This will bring up all your current ads. You will see box, 2 triangles it, that says “Make Multiple Changes” Click this box. This will open dropdown box that has 2 choices, “Add/Update Multiple Text Ads” “Delete Multiple Text Ads” Click former, Add/Update. This will open new box, “Add multiple Text Ads-Step 1 2″. On upper area, there 2 rectangles, first your campaign, second your Ad Group box. Click this box. From this box you may make changes one or more your ads. Scroll down bottom dropdown. You will see Click this. Next, at bottom left big box you will see very small box that says “Replace entire contents destination ad groups these text ads. Check that box.

Now you ready put your ads in. There space, body pop up. where you will put your ads in. have couple tips help this. The first is: Pre write your ads save them word doc or notepad. From there you can copy paste them this area. Also, once you have saved your ads notepad, you will have record what ads you have used past can make note which worked which did not.

There 3 lines your Google Ads. The first may only contain 25 characters including spaces. Punctuation basically forbidden, you can have question mark or exclamation mark little else. The second two lines may have 35 characters each including spaces. Punctuation at minimum. Do not write “click here” or such, as Google Monster will get you. They will let you know stopping those ads that do not qualify untill you fix them.

OK, now put ad copy box. start first line first ad. Put it as you would like it seen. Then hit your “Tab” button. Now you can put second line your ad as you would like it seen. Hit “Tab” again. This where third line your ad goes as you would like it seen. Hit “Tab” again. This where your visible URL will go. Your visible URL your destination URL have match. You can not put, instance: www.SeeMe.com first www.SeeHer.com destination. If your URL too long first box, Google will assist you your options. OK, you have just finished your first URL. Tab again. Now your destination URL comes next. Both URLs must complete, IE: http://www.mysite.com. Great!

For next ad, should you wish show more than one, hit enter. This will put your curser under your first ad. Write or copy paste next ad, using “Tab” between each line. Complete each line both URLs, “Tab” between. Continue this until all your ads present.

Now it time load these your Editor. After you have completed writing your ads, hit “Next” button bottom right box. This will load your ads. Once this has completed you can hit “finish”. The box will disappear you will see all your new ads appear right your screen. Once you have reviewed these, your next job post these new ads onto your campaign.

To post your new ads, look at top Editor page. There you will see blue arrow that pointing up. Next arrow words “Post Changes” Click that arrow. A popup box will appear. It will count all your changes. Once this done, your will see box bottom right box that says “Post” Click that box. The Editor will go through your campaign make necessary adjustments pending changes. It will then begin post changes, deleting old ads then posting new ads. This could take few minutes depending how large your account how many ads you posting. Once Editor has completed task, you can close box. On main screen your editor, you will see all changes that have taken effect. You can review them there. Next, go your Google campaign look at ads…Ta Dah! All done.
